Coal is used to convert Iron Ores to Iron Ingots, and to convert Iron Ingots into useful armor, shields, and weapons.

Uses

• Jhedia requires Coals to convert Iron Ores to Iron Ingots:
  • 5 Iron Ores, 10 Coals, 1,000 GP => 1 Iron Ingot
• Peter uses Iron Ingots and Coals to make chest armor:
  • Chain Mail (+20 Defense): 5 Iron Ingots, 10 Coals, 20,000 GP
  • Light Plate (+25 Defense): 10 Iron Ingots, 20 Coals, 50,000 GP
  • Warlord Plate (+27 Defense): 15 Iron Ingots, 30 Coals, 100,000 GP
• Nicholas the Blacksmith uses Iron Ingots and Coals to make armor, shields, and weapons:
  • Knight's Helmet (+15 Defense): 3 Iron Ingots, 6 Coals, 10,000 GP
  • Crusade Helmet (+18 Defense): 6 Iron Ingots, 12 Coals, 10,000 GP
  • Warlord Helmet (+18 Defense): 9 Iron Ingots, 18 Coals, 10,000 GP
  • Steel Shield (+20 Defense), 20,000 XP: 6 Iron Ingots, 12 Coals, 2 Infantry Helmets, 1 Leather Patch, 20,000 GP

• Quest: Heathin requires 50 Coals to craft a simple ring for you:
  • Simple Ring: 50 Coals, 100,000 GP
• Coal can often be sold to other players for a good price.
