The Problem of strong Mages[edit]

mages are very strong. They kill warriors and archers within one or two shots from long distance. This is because warriors and archers have usually no stats on int, so they have low magic defense.

reson: because of maxing one stat[edit]

warrior/archer need at least two skills:

 dexterity for hitting target
 agility for not getting hit
vitality for surviving a little longer
 luck for crits.

mages just need int. So mages can easily max out their needed stats. So here is the proposal: mages need more different stats:

 war magic: str + int
 astral: luck + int
 life: vit + int
 nature: agi + int
 transmution: dex + int

reason: because of lots of spells[edit]

ok to be honest: have you ever seen a mage who is very good in cursing lighning spells, and also very good at transmution magic?

So this proposal is to make spells not available to everyone. Of course some basics can be done by everybody, but to reach some really strong spells, you have to specialize. You must choose a realm of magic.

So the first one or two levels of magic levels can be gained by everybody.

But then, only one mage will teach you the most powerful spells of one realm
